About the NOSL
The Northern Ohio Soccer League was founded in 2017 to offer a competitive playing experience for players located in Northern Ohio. After a year and a half of planning and organizing, the league kicked off its inaugural men's season in 2019 with five teams. The 2020 season was canceled due to the pandemic, but the league came back stronger with nine men's teams for its 2021 season. Currently the men's league has 17 members across two divisions and the women's league has five teams for the 2024 season.
Prior to the start of the 2024 season, the league announced its plans to change the men's league format, dividing its 17 men's teams into two divisions in a promotion and relegation format. The Stimulus League Cup was also introduced as a new men's competition in 2024.
There are no age restrictions as to who can play as the league caters to high school, college, and adult players. The NOSL continues to grow and has become one of the best avenues for competitive adult soccer in the area and looks to continue offering premium, competitive leagues at affordable prices.
